Where can I buy a ticket and how much do they cost?

We use Universe ticketing platform to our sell our Drive In cinema tickets. You can buy your ticket online via this website.
  • Best Seat in the House - £40 per car
  • General Admission - £33 per car

Are tickets charged by person or by car?

By car. We don’t mind how many are in the car, as long as they are in the same household and don’t break the law regarding number of passengers.

I haven't received my E-Ticket

If you haven’t received your E-Ticket via email from hello@universe.com within 24 hours and it’s not in your spam folder, please contact hello@folkestoneharbourarm.co.uk. We need to know the name and email address you used to be able to find your ticket, so make sure you include those details in your email.

What if I have COVID-19 symptoms?

Please do not attend the Harbour Screen Drive In if you are showing any Covid-19 symptoms. Follow the government guidelines and self-isolate.

What should I bring with me to get in?

Entry will be granted based on your vehicle’s registration, so make sure you enter the correct registration of the vehicle you are travelling in when purchasing your ticket. In case there are any issues, please also have your ticket ready either digitally on your phone or as a printout.

What if I want to make changes to my ticket?

Email hello@folkestoneharbourarm.co.uk to make any changes to your ticket. Changes must be requested at least 24 hours before the event.

What happens if we go back into lockdown?

You will be granted a full ticket refund.

Event

What time should I arrive?

When purchasing your ticket, you will have selected a preferred arrival time slot. Check your ticket to confirm what time you selected. The times are there to help with traffic and to minimise queues for customers when arriving. If you arrive early you may be asked to come back at your allocated slot.
  • Matinee screening arrival slots are: 14:00, 14:10, 14:20, 14:30, 14:40, 14:50
  • Evening screening arrival slots are: 19:00, 19:10, 19:20, 19:30, 19:40, 19.50

How can I listen to the film from my car?

We will be transmitting sound via FM radio straight into your car. The exact frequency will be shared with you when you arrive at the drive in. We strongly recommend you check that your car can connect to an FM frequency before attending the drive in.

What if my radio doesn’t work?

If you are not able to tune into an FM frequency you will need to bring a portable radio. There are apps out there that broadcast FM radio; do not depend on these as there will be a small delay that means you’ll be out of sync with the film. Be sure to double check your portable radio is working and is fully charged before you travel.

I am worried that my battery might go flat because I am listening to my radio with the engine turned off

We do ask that engines are switch off during the film. If you have concerns that your battery might go flat, please run your engine intermittently during the film. If your battery does go flat, we will have marshals with jump leads who can help to get your engine started.

Will the shows include subtitles for deaf and hard of hearing people?

We can bring in subtitles for all films except the sing-alongs. Please let us know if you require us to display subtitles for a screening that you are attending by emailing hello@folkestoneharbourarm.co.uk.

Why are there different arrival slots available for each event?

The entry will be split into time slots that are 10 minutes apart to help with traffic and to minimise queues for customers when arriving. Those that arrive first will start being parked first. Pick your preferred position and book your slot accordingly.

What happens if i’m late?

Please try and arrive on time as late arrivals will be placed at the back. Arrivals will be allowed in up until 15:30 for matinee events and 20:30 for evening events.

Do you allow larger vehicles?

We allow vehicles such as vans, 4X4 pick-ups and SUV’s. Please note that you may be placed towards the edge or back of the screening area to ensure that everyone has a good view of the screen.

Do you have accessible toilets?

There are toilets available on the site. Please bear in mind all facilities are currently operating a one in, one out system and are not operating at full capacity.

Can I leave my car during the film?

To help us to maintain strict social distancing we ask that you do not leave your car unless you’re going to the toilet. All food and drink pre-orders or orders made during the drive in will be served directly to your car.

Can I leave the drive in once the film has started?

Once you have been parked into your bay, your vehicle will not be able to leave again until we usher your car out once the film is over. In the case of an emergency, you will be able to leave. Please flash your headlights if you need to gain our attention.

Are pets allowed?

No pets are allowed on site. The only exception to this is assistance dogs.

Food and Drink

Is there food and drink available?

We have a wide array of on-site vendors ready to bring delicious food and drink direct to your car. Take a look at our vendors and order via the QTap App. Find out more details about ordering via our Food & Drink App below.

Can I bring food into the event?

We have a number of food and drink offers available at the drive in, so we ask that you don’t bring your own food and drink. Choosing to eat and drink with our vendors helps us keep the Harbour Screen running. Find out more details about ordering via our App below.

Can I bring alcohol into the event?

You are not allowed to bring your own alcohol on site. We have a dedicated bar by Angels & Demons Brewery and each of our food vendors offer a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Find out more details about ordering via our Food & Drink App below.

Ordering food & drink via QTap app

We have a fantastic range of food and drink on offer at the Harbour Screen Drive In. For the ultimate drive in experience order via our App and we will deliver straight to your car. We do encourage pre-orders to give our vendors an idea about demand on the day, so why not order ahead once you’ve purchased your ticket. You’ll need to tell us the date and time of the screening you’re attending plus the vehicle registration used when booking your ticket. Please add these details to the notes section of your order.

Download QTap for Android and Apple devices at the App Store and look for our Drive In vendors. If you are ordering food and drink at the Drive In, they’ll be the first venues visible on your list.

I've downloaded QTap but I can't see any venues listed?

QTap is compatible with iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and requires you to be on iOS 10.0 or later for Apple devices and 4.4 or later for Android devices. If you are not able to see any venues on QTap, troubleshoot by making sure that your device is running that latest operating system.

The venues listed on my app are not listing venues at the Drive In?

Check that your device allows QTap to access your Location Services.

For Apple devices go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services. Find QTap in your list of Apps and make sure that location services are switched to ‘While Using the App’.

For Android devices go to Settings > Security > Location > App Level Permissions. Find QTap in your list of Apps and switch to On.

If you have made a change to your Location Services, refresh the QTap App by closing and reopening the App.

I am the designated driver but I would like to enjoy an alcoholic drink at the Drive In

Free parking is available to all ticket holders up until 10am the next day. Ask one of our marshals at the end of the film to give you an overnight parking ticket and display this on your dashboard. Vehicles must be collected by 10am on Sunday or you will be charged for overnight parking.

What do we do with rubbish?

We kindly ask that all guests take their rubbish away with them and do not dispose of it at the event. This helps you and our staff to be Covid secure.

Safety

The Folkestone Harbour Screen has evolved into a drive-in cinema experience so that we can continue to deliver entertainment in a Covid secure way. Here’s what we’re doing to keep the site as safe as possible.
  • Visitors will always stay in their cars, unless they are going to the toilet.
  • Entry will granted by your number plate, which you will enter when purchasing a ticket, so there is no interaction between you and our staff.
  • Food and drink are ordered remotely via our QTap App and delivered straight to your vehicle.
  • Vehicles have been spaced to ensure appropriate social distancing at all times.
  • The nearby toilet facilities are operating a one in, one out system, include hand sanitiser stations and are cleaned regularly.
